The death toll from the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic has sharply jumped from 58 to 87 in the last 24-hours in Andalucia in the south of Spain.
The Junta de Andalucia regional government’s Ministry of Health and Families reports that 510 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed bringing the total number of those affected in Andalucia to 2,471.
Of those admitted, 102 remain in intensive care.
153 patients have already overcome the acute phase of the disease and have been discharged from hospital to complete their recovery at home, where they will remain under active follow-up.
And 66 patients have already been cured in Andalucia.
