Can you help support the Solidarity Fridge and Food Bank in Gaucín?

Mar Blanco and Jorge Carretero of the  Pura Vida “La Tienda Verde” Eco-Store in Gaucín have appealed for help to support the less fortunate people in their pueblo…

They say, “As you know we continue with our small contribution to the village of Gaucín and that our work consists of taking in the food in the shop and the distribution is done by the Town Hall, on Thursdays or Fridays, to the less fortunate people.

This is how you can help…

FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS OR DONATIONS

These can be made in the Eco-Shop. Until now they have usually been coins and small contributions. Every Thursday the money is counted and with this we make the purchases. From now on we will keep a record of contributions or donations of more than €10.
And whoever wants to contribute and be anonymous, of course, we will be as grateful as ever.

YOU CAN BRING FOOD THROUGHOUT THE WEEK, IT DOESN’T NECESSARILY HAVE TO BE ORGANIC

We ask you to bring fresh food on Thursdays so that it can be kept in the fridge.

ON THURSDAYS OR FRIDAYS THE TOWN HALL WILL COME TO COLLECT THE FOOD and they will make the distribution to the families who are most in need.

Opening hours of the Eco-Store from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm, Saturdays from 10am to 2pm
