Atajate is one of the so-called white villages, located in the heart of the Valle de Genal, in the Serranía de Ronda mountain range. It is the smallest village in the province of Málaga, standing guard at the entrance to the Genal Valley. From the Atajate viewpoint, one can contemplate the vastness of the valley (both upper and lower), discovering a variety of greens in spring and ochres in autumn.
