Estacion de Gaucín

La Romería de la Estacíon de Gaucín (El Colmenar) 2026 will take place on Saturday 13 June 2026. Although traditionally held in May, the festival in honour of Our Lady of Fatima had to be postponed due to the forecast of rain on its original dates.

A 10am there will be a solemn Mass in the Santiago Apóstol parish church dedicated to Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Afterwards will be the start of the traditional pilgrimage up to Llano de la Romería (Llano Grande), accompanying the Virgin along with floats, pilgrims and horseback riders. During the afternoon there will be a celebration of the classic ribbon race on horseback and live music starting at 2pm.

The religious and initial events take place in the centre of Estación de Gaucín – El Colmenar. Afterwards, the gathering moves to the Llano Grande, a recreational area located about three kilometres from the village, in the heart of the Los Alcornocales Natural Park.
