The municipal swimming pool in Benalauría will open its doors this summer on Saturday 20 June 2026. The facilities are located in the Era Cabezas complex, a place with spectacular views of the surroundings where the municipal multi-sports court and the El Cerro restaurant are also located.
The swimming pool will be open to the public every day (except Tuesdays) from 1pm to 8pm and admission will be free for everyone between June 20th and 30th.
The Ayuntamiento de Benalauría town hall has announced that work is currently under way to prepare the municipal swimming pool, ensuring the facilities are in optimal condition for the start of the swimming season. The council also reiterated that the pool is fully equipped and compliant with regional regulations regarding the removal of architectural barriers to ensure accessibility for people with mobility difficulties.
Next to the pool is the El Cerro restaurant, an establishment that offers the best of the local cuisine and has become a landmark in the Genal valley and the Serranía de Ronda mountain range. The town hall has encouraged local residents and visitors to make use of the municipal swimming pool facilities, where they can enjoy pleasant summer days.
