Photojournalist José Antonio Berrocal Pérez, president of the Andalusian Speleology Federation and member of the Malaga Press Association, died yesterday Saturday, February 22, at the age of 69 in a mountain accident in Parauta (Malaga).
José Antonio Berrocal, was a mountaineering expert and one of the drivers of caving in Andalucia.
He was a photographer for ABC, Diario Costa del Sol, Diario 16 and several national agencies.
In 1968 he founded Guadalfoto, a pioneering group in the teaching of photography in Andalucia.
The Malaga Press Association, where he was a member for two decades, offered their sincerest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
