One dead and four injured, one of them seriously, in accident between lorry and two cars on A357 Malaga road

One person has died and four others have been injured, one of them seriously, in a traffic accident today (Monday) between a lorry and two cars in the Malaga town of Pizarra, according to information from the 112 Andalucia emergency services control room.

The response coordination centre received the first reports of a collision involving three vehicles on the A-357 road at kilometre 42 at 11.35am.

The smash resulted in the death of one person at the scene and four others were injured, one of them in a serious condition who was rushed to hospital by helicopter. The other injured people were transferred to hospital by road ambulance.

Paramedics, Guardia Civil officers, firefighters and Civil Protection volunteers attended the accident.
