COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS CRISIS: Spain’s Paradores luxury hotels to temporarily close their doors

Spain’s chain of luxury Paradores hotels have announced that all their properties,sually located in a converted historic building such as a monastery or castle, or in a modern building with a panoramic view of a historic and monumental city, are to temporarily close in an effort to control the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus.

In a notice to customers that have announced..

“IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL OUR GUESTS

“In line with the state of alarm and as long as this situation persists, Paradores will keep all the establishments closed. We are facing an exceptional and extremely serious stage that forces us to ensure the health and safety of our clients and our employees.

Clients who have reservations for the next few days, please contact your destination Parador or the Central Bookings Line on 91 374 25 00 or via email at [email protected].”

The chain, headquartered in Madrid, employs around 4,000 staff around the country.
