This white village perched on the slopes of the Sierra de Benadalid where you can find the well-known as the “Tajo de los Aviones” (cliff of the planes), and where the Via Ferrata is.

It is located between the Genal and Guadiaro valleys next to the Ronda – Gaucín road. The steep and narrow streets of Arab design, come down into the valley of Genal and reach the Plaza Beni Al Jali, name of this village in the eighth century. Here, the Town Hall and the Church of San Isidoro stand. In the lower part of the village you can see the most important historical legacy, the Benadalid Castle of Roman origin which was respected later by Arabs.
